For this shoot, you will take a well composed portrait. This can be any portrait, whether it is a faceless portrait or from a different point of view. The only requirement is that your model must be interacting with an object. This can be any object or objects. Your model can be holding it, sitting on it, eating it, be in action or whatever your creative minds can think of.
Images must be new and uploaded before the start of your class to be considered on time, and to be eligible for a "Best in Show" award.
You will be graded upon:
-Objective / Concept: Did you creatively solve the problem as independent thinker? Image should be well thought out, planned and executed. Image should be personalized with a unique and meaningful response. Image is new and original (Avoid cliche and stereotypical responses)
-Design: How elegantly do you employ the photographic principles of composition or principles of design in your work?
-Camera Use: Did you use good lighting and is the exposure well focused?
-Presentation : Did you make simple edits in a photo program to adjust levels, crop or clean up the image? Did you upload it to flickr on time?
